We are a non-profit organization of volunteers. Formerly an auxiliary to the Jaycees, our new organization, Nebraska Women of Today, was founded on July 1, 1985. The Heartland Chapter (originally Omaha Metro Women of Today) was organized on April 18, 1995.

To provide our members opportunities in the areas of leadership training, personal growth, and community service by working in partnerships with established foundations to accomplish this mission.
Heartland Women of Today is the local chapter of the nationwide organization United States Women of Today (www.uswomenoftoday.org).
Who We Are
Members share a desire to serve their community as caring volunteers bettering the lives they touch as well as their own.
Any person 18 years or older can join the Heartland Women of Today. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds-from homemakers to architects. With membership in Heartland Women of Today you gain membership in Nebraska Women of Today and US Women of Today.
Women of Today does not endorse political candidates or issues. Though it is not affiliated with any religion its core values are based on faith in God.
